Default Text management

Is there anyway to lock a text message? Could do that in all my previous phones.

Also - Is there a way to save text msgs to my storage card and then read them?

Also - Is there a way to delete all text msgs besides just the deleted items folder? Or do I have to just delete each one one at a time?

Thanks all.

if it's anything like the Q1, then no.

for the last questions, check out Jeyo Companion, it allows you to edit/write/maintain text messages that are on your from from your pc, you can also like i did create folders via the pc and you will be able to move text messages that you want to save in those folders.

to delete multiple messages you could install Inbox Extender..

Thanks. I installed the inbox extender & it works real nice. Should've been part of the OS.

in my opinion Companion is nicer because it has more option... plus in my case Extender was unable to send text messages, it would only send one word. then Jeyo advised Companion - then they made n99 and me beta testers and so far nothing really is done to fix Extender.

So you are saying Extender made your text messaging not work?

text messaging still worked fine, only if i would type and try to send a message via Extender with my Q connected of course it would only send one character.. i had that issue, n99 did not (he's on MOL1, that's the only difference they could find)

so bottom-line.. sms will still work, just not sending through Extender, unless you are lucky like n99.

Now I get it. OK. Was confused. Yeah I am only sending through Q and all is well except in the middle of the night last night I received 4 text message failed notices in a row. And it gave me no information as to what messages they were, who they were sent to, nothing. Was wondering if that may have had something to do with installing Extender that evening.
