Default Text alert question

I noticed that if I get a text while on a call the phone will beep to alert me. Is there any way to disable that alert feature? Thanks.

i'll go a little bit further than that. i'm not looking to disable it, but how bout changing the text alert sound so it doesn't sound like you have another call coming in while your already on the phone.

let me get this right, you want to disable or change the sound levels. I thought I read you wanted to change the sound level.

nope, I never said that. I said I am NOT looking to disable it, but looking to change the alert tone. when on the phone and receiving a text alert it makes almost the same exact sound as an incoming call alert. I want a way to distinguish the alert where i'm not having to pull the phone off my ear to see who's calling when all it is is a text message alert. make sense?
