Need Help Task Manager Tasks MIA

Hi all,
I am a new Q9M user and I must say I love this phone. I thought I would miss the touch screen of my previous phone (Treo 700w) but I really don't.

One weird issue I am having, and I fear I might have to do a hard reset, is that when I invoke the Task Manager, the list is blank. This was not the behavior of the phone when I first got it. To test it, I opened up some apps and tried it again, and still no tasks in there. Not only that but the memory and CPU numbers on the bottom don't show up either.

Once in a while, I will invoke the Task Manager and see a bunch of tasks for a split second; then they disappear.

Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening ... and perhaps how to fix it?

Thank you in advance.

Steve

I'm having the same issue. It's like the task manager isnt' completely loading, the softkeys at the bottom don't change, but if I hit the right softkey, I do get the task menu (kill, kill all, exit etc). and the exit works. I don't get anything in the task list or the CPU / Memory line at the bottom. I'm also contemplating a Hard Reset. My guess is that some software I was playing around with caused the problem ...

let me know if you find a solution without hard resetting ...

Hi there,
Well I broke down and performed a hard reset. All is well now. I recommend doing the same.

When I began loading up the same software I was running, I did so one at a time and tested to make sure that the Task Manager appeared and functioned correctly.

Good luck!
