Super Noob Needs HELP!!!

Hey whats up guys and girls. I just got my q9m yesterday its sooo slow. when i type it lags like crazy it sucks i seen the speed hack but when i go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\STORAGEMANAGER\FATFS. There is no cachesize folder justcachefilt?? what do i do? thanks so much for the help!!!

try turning the predictive text entry off and clearing the Input history
go to start > settings > text input settings

and don't expect too much from the speed hacks, I have done none & my Q is fine speedwise..

I tried them on my old Q1 and didn't see any appreciable difference so I went back to the defaults. (and then my Q9c came with the "hack" values standard)

welcome to Eq tehre are lots of ways to increase your speed no hacks involved

-disable infrared settings - connections - beams

turn of bluetooth when not using it

use key lock home key-space bar

settings - home screen - time out - never

disable evdo if your not using internet at all or your not a big fan of it

get candlelight - dims lcd screen - can be found on my apps page

use tcpmp instead of wmp

Q9 doesnt have IR port...if it did it would save battery life

umm, no candlelight for a Q9 (unless you disable the smart backlight, which does the same thing anyway)

I don't believe Candlelight works good on the Q9's + it has the smart backlight.
