Default spectec WIFI can't connect with WPA

Just got the spectec sdw-822 card for the Q and am having trouble setting it up. I've read through posts, but haven't got an answer yet. Basically the card installs fine, but when I try to connect to a network, I get an error saying "the selected configuration is not valid". This only happens when I set the authentication to WPA. If it's set to open / shared it works fine. I don't think it's my network/password b/c I get the error before it even tries to access anything, it's like it doesn't even support the WAP option. I downloaded the XBOW driver mentioned in another thread to no avail, still the same problem. I also tried the 6.0 driver off of the Spectec website (even though the CD said it supported 6.0). Still no luck. Anyone have any ideas, or is there a thread that already addresses this?

--EDIT-- Found if I set Data encryption to TKIP and EAP type to PEAP it will let me save the configuration BUT it always gets rid of my network key and enables the "key is provided" option, which it isn't. So 1 step closer I guess.

--EDIT-- I set the WPA to WPA-PSK and entered my key. Set Data encryption to TKIP and it lets me save everything. Still won't connect, and when i return, the password that is saved is double the size of the one I originally entered.

I have had the same problem, execpt that mynetwork encryption was WEP. I finally got it to work by using an ASCI encryption key rather than an hex key. Hope this works for you too.

I have had a similar problem, except that my wifi network used a hex WEP key. I found that if I used an ASCII key instead that I could connect tomy network. Hope this works for you.
