Default Screen Protectors

Can anyone who uses screen protectors tell me if you have good success with them? I am using them but it makes my screen look grainy and blurry. I ordered protectors to fit the Q9M.

Are the protectors supposed to look like that and that's the tradeoff for protecting your screen or am I doing something wrong?

I'm using the invisible shield protectors and they don't make the screen burry, but they do change the reflectiveness of the screen (I think in a good way). Plus - a lot less fingerprints.

Can you tell me what they are called or where I can buy them?

Boxwave makes excellent ones.

I had a Boxwave on my old Sony Clie and I'll agree, they are excellent.

I'm currently just using a cheapo one that came in a bulk pack (think from Best Buy). As has been said before, it doesn't make it blurry but it does change the reflectiveness (think more matte).

I use cheapo ones now. Reason being my treo was sent back and replaced so many times I was losing out on the cost of screen protectors. Plus if I feel I have a big scratch, I peel it off, look at the screen and put a new one back on.

The one I installed came from a kiosk in the mall - you can also get it at shieldzone.com. They tout that the material they use is also used to coat the blades of helicopters. My experience is that it is VERY strong. The cost at around $15 isn't the cheapest, but I'm sure I won't need another one unless I break the glass screen (although I think this will actually reduce the likelihood of that) or decide to replace my glass screen to get rid of scratch I got before I bought the invisible shield.

The one I purchased was cut-out specifically for the Q9m - with a cutout for the speaker at the top and the various softkeys at the bottom - a very nice fit.
