Default Ready to registry edit.

Have not done it. Am looking forward to it. I know there is a ton written on it here and I am bookmarking many threads. That being said I ask this now;

What is a good, simple, registry editor? Free would be a plus as well if this is possible – but I will pay for something simple and good. Couple things I’m looking for: I want to be able to edit on the Q – and I would like to be able to use only the editor if I choose and not the file manager that comes with it or whatever. This make sense?

ie: just looking to registry edit on the Q and continue using ALL of my WM6 OS.

Thanks everyone

I'm looking for something installed onto the Q and run on the Q. Total commander looks like it is run on your PC according to what I can gather from their website. Is this the case or am I missing something?

Yes, Total Commander is for the PC. Total Commander CE is for the Pocket PC and Smartphone. I do use TC CE but for registry editing I use PHM registry editor. Unfortunately, Resco is the only software I know of that can import pre-made registry files.

I love resco - it's straight forward & easy to understand. it has a free trial for you to figure out if it's the program for you.
