Q9m whats so great?

what is so great about the motorola q9m? What is so special to everyone that has upgraded/crossgraded?

Besides the ability to add an external Wifi attachment... nothing much...

I'm an Original Q owner, but from what I could tell, by playing with one at a Verizon store, is the keyboard is better. That's about it.

Just to name a few:

- Keyboard Keyboard Keyboard
- Flash memory up to 32 g (when available) I have a 4 gig card
- Wifi (via card)
- Speakers are better (louder clearer more bass)
- Much better build quality (the old q felt almost like a toy to me)
- Better battery life 2 - 3 times longer
- Smart Back Light
- WM6 vs WM5

If you are trying to choose between the two I would definately choose the 9m over the original. if you are upgrading you'll have to weigh the pro's and cons, is the $99.00 or whatever you end up spending worth it? for me definately.

I back this up 500% I went from Q to Q9 and its like night and day for just for the keyboard alone

yes very sexy indeed.....the high gloss black kicks a$$ and the dark candy apple red band around the outside edge tops it off....

Ditto - the 9m is a no-brainer upgrade for me.

Additional bonuses I saw are:

improved color quality
improved imaging
full screen option in camera mode
alarm options are more than just ON or OFF but include WEEKDAY ONLY
keyboard digits are bigger and softer

Does the Q9m crash as much as the original Q? I have had so many problems with my Q crashing when I try to answer calls. I was about to pull the trigger on the 9m and then decided to wait for the 9c as I don't need the vcast features.

In the month or two I've had it, it's only frozen once. My prior Q's were repeatedly freezing.

Don't know anything about the 9c to compare with 9m, but 9m kills regular Q.

I love my q9 I have had it for about a week and I love this thing I don't think I could live with out it it prety much handels my life for me.
