Q9m vs. Q9c ? - Motorola Q Forum

What is the different between the two? I played with the Q9c yesterday, a friend works at Verizon.

It seems to me that they are the same phone.

The main difference, I think, will be in the software. The q9c will not come with the vcast bloatware that the q9m comes with.

Maybe we get something more with the 9c business-wise. Maybe it comes with some sort of office software that the 9m does not.

It looks like the 9c will have a blue color scheme instead of the 9m's red. I just hope that the 9c does not have the color's stripe (blue or otherwise) around the outer edges of the phone. I'd like it to just be all black.

Did you get any tips on when the Q9c might be released? I'd like to see it before I decide on the m vs. the c.

I don't think you could miss with either one.
The 9m has been rock solid, and the red matches my favorite team, so I am happy. Also, its probably at a lower price than the Qc

essentially, the Q9c is for business users while the Q9m is more consumer oriented. other than the obvious physical differences and the lack of media features, the only major difference is the Q9c has VZW Navigator, while the Q9m has no gps

what media features does the q9c lack? Verizon is replacing my q9m with a q9c, and I'm wondering what I'll be gaining and losing. I have a few movies on the 9m that I entertain my kids with (Core media player) -will the 9c still be able to do this?

I don't think it should be a problem. the c just has verizon navigator. everything else is the same.
