Q9M battery issues

Hello. I'm a newbie, on my second Q9M since Mar. 9th. The first one was absolutely possessed. My question concerns battery life. I'm not a power user. I average 30-40 minutes of calls and/or texts/day, no e-mail or web, check calendar frequently for schedule. Some days my battery will not last a whole day, sometimes I get 2-3 days before recharging. Seems to be no rhyme or reason. Any ideas what's going on ?

Could you have apps runnng in the background?
Are you in a weak signal area. I used to get 2-3 days with a charge now its down to 1 1/2 days because of data use.
BTW welcome and hope the phone works out better for you. Was the replacement a battery and phone or just one?

Thanks for the reply. Signal is OK. Could apps be running that I don't know about ? How can I check ? No obvious apps are running.

go into task manager and kill all apps. see if that helps.
