Problem with Email - Motorola Q Forum

every time i try to set up a email account on my phone i type it in it next and the next option is finish and i press finish and nothing happens

As in it won't finish the setup? Or as in it doesn't download email?

it just goes to a screen with a link to msn.com

Click on it and then do Options>Send/Receive. It will go and grab all of your e-mails from your inbox.

ok but when i do that at the messaging homescreen it still says set up a new email account

If you're trying to set up Hotmail on your Q, I believe you need an additional program (Windows Live [Not Windows Live Search] - search for the thread on it). I don't think you can just set it up through the email client on the Q like any other email account. If you don't want to use Windows Live, then you may just have to check your Hotmail through your web browser.
