No sound on my Q9M - Motorola Q Forum

This is quite strange when i get calls my phone rings and makes noise, yet when i try to select a new ringtone it does not play. Also i tried to play that video that comes on the sd card and it plays, i can watch the video but there is no sound. does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? thanks for ur help.

Have you tried pressing the wheel on the side of the phone and adjusting the volume?

well i am having the same problem except my volume is all the way up. my phne rings but wont play music or video sound. its weird

You can try to check and see if your profile is on silent. If it is, change it to normal. Just hold down the home key to check.

its not me its the phone. music plays if its on silent or vibrate if you have the vol. up but even on normal and outside you cant hear it. it used to be quite loud but idk what happened.
