New Q9m few questions

Hello all. I just bought a new Q9m phone from Motorola. Few quetions though.

1. I have set up my Yahoo email and another email account I have no problem and receive emails automatically every 15 minutes. However on my home page it has an email tab but it always says (0). When I tab over it and hit OK it says Outlook email and the screen is blank. Then when I go to the Messanging icon I see both my email accounts and there is definitely email there but again it doesnt show in the Email tab on the home page. I do use Outlook on my laptop for both accounts. How do I setup Outlook email on the Q9m? Or change the email tab to point in the right direction?

2. Is it worth it to downoad the Opera Mobile...is it that much better than IE? I heard Mini is not for the Q9m.

3. Tonight I was using my Q9m in a dark car and while the display was lit up the keyboard was dark making it impossible to type. I had to disable the smart backlight for the display to light up. Any advice on the smart backlight? Shouldn't it sense night and light up the keyboard?

can't really answer your question but I would change your screen name because you wouldn't want spam heading your way.


My light does that at times too. just push the scroll wheel or a button or two on the keyboard and it should come on.

Mark - did you ever figure this out? I have the same question and it's driving me crazy!
