Default Multimedia Questions...

Well,
Since I'm a dirty noob, I'll go ahead and post this question in the Q9M Section (since I have a Q 9M), but if I'm in the wrong section, send me a nasty pm, and mods move/close the thread.

Back to the questions at hand. I recently have started getting into ripping DVDs, and downloading TV shows. I've put a few on my 1GB card on my Q and started watching. I noticed that Windows Media player for mobile devices STILL doesn't play AVI files, nor MPEG. So I download, Pocket TV for my MPEGs. To jump to the main questions:

What is a good AVI player for my Q?

Also I've noticed that when I'm playing a MP4 (The office on NBC) it's really jumpy. Not a smooth movie, but watching it on my computer shows me it is fine. Is it because I'm playing if off the SD Card?

Thanks in advance.

You should try TCPMP (it's free). I have a copy on my apps page if you need it.

rainmaker,

I've downloaded TCPMP before and used it for months with excellent results. But recently had to do a hard reset and I'm now reinstalling all of my additional apps.

I reinstalled TCPMP Core Player but I'm not happy with the performance now. I seem to be missing something as all the movies I watch now are very choppy and the audio is out of sync with the video.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
