So did mine. I had the stock battery and the extended battery. Happened with both. Both had charges, usually full charges. If your issue is anything like mine, I would be almost positive that your power is your problem. Best thing is try and borrow a buddy's battery and see if the issue continues.

Default same problem...even after exchange

I was having the same problem with my phone randomly shutting down and not restarting without removing the battery. Took it to the Verizon store two days ago and got a brand new one with a brand new battery.

This one is even worse. Shutting off 4-5 times a day instead of just once. I'm ready to throw it through the window. Any thoughts?

If you are using a memory card, make sure it is fully snapped into the slot. I found my 2GB card not fully locked in and once snapped back in correctly, my phone has not had the power off situation I as previously having. May not be related, but not one power issue since finding the loose card (which may have occurred when the phone was jarred).

[I honestly had the same issue, long story short, my Verizon store has techs on site, I kept going back to them, they kept replacing the phones. (Personally, I think it was battery related, although I did have the regular and extended batteries, and had the issue on both.) Basically 7 phones later, they just upgraded me to the Q9M for free as kind of a way to say sorry. I'd try that route, AS long as you have the insurance and have no problems, getting them to replace the phones, I am sure you'll be able to get a similar type of deal. Good luck, also an fyi-I have had 0 isuses with the Q9M and I've been using that for about 2-3 months now.

This is a Q9m, both the original and the replacement. Removed the memory card and hasn't shut off for 3 days. Have to say that must have been the problem. Thanks for the help.
