What's the function of the symbol that's above the messaging key that looks like a half-filled circle?

if you hold the key in it will quickly turn the screen off (rather than waiting for a timeout)

ps. Paco, it does not turn the screen off - at least not on the Q1... (that can be done with the messaging button)

I know. On the Q9, that's the only key with a "half filled" circle. The Fn key actually is labled Fn.
