 |  Is it WM5 or WM6? I picked up a Q9m last week and in the Verizon store it clearly says that the product ships with Windows Mobile 6. However when I look at the software version in Resco Explorer I see Windows Mobile 5 (CE 5.02). Did I just happen to get one that wasn't installed with the correct software or should I find a class action law suite to get in on so I can get a free copy of WM 6? |  i'm just assuming that its WM6... everytime i install a program I get a warning saying this program was designed for WM5 and may not work properly... but then again you no what they say about assuming!  |

 | Well, on my Q9m, Start -> Settings -> About, it says "Windows Mobile 6 Standard", CE OS 5.2.1238 (Build 17745.0.2.3), so I'd say it's WM 6. |

| I think it's like the Windows95, Windows98 & Windows ME. It's basically the same OS with tweaks. When you do a system version call on them they come up 4.xxx. Similarly Win2000 and XP are essentially the same OS. XP has multiuser space that 2K didn't though.
