Hotmail

I know Windows Live was taken out of this version of the Q. Does that mean it's impossible to get hotmail 'pushed' to the device? I can't seem to find any way to do it. When I go through the normal e-mail account set up from the Q itself it won't let me use hotmail, instead directing me to a dead link.

welcome aboard... don't you just wanna add a IMAP account for Hotmail ?.. well, in that case it is not pushed.

Well at this point anything would be fine, although I had read a review saying push technology was available from hotmail on the Q m.

I'm not sure how to set up the e-mail period, as it did everything for me last time around on my old Q

Do a Google search for "Windows Live WM6 Smartphone" (or go look at xda-developers....) and you'll find several links to the files that Verizon took off. I've got windows live messenger and the hotmail plugin installed on my Q9m and I've got push email from my hotmail account, including html email.

I don't have a hotmail account, so I don't know if it works how you're wanting it to, but my guess would be that it does.
