Default Home screen differences.

My Q9m is from Verizon. There are two VZW home screen layouts to choose from - the VZW Layout and the VZW Classic Layout.

When I am using the vzw classic layout all my email accounts show what is happening, email is automatically downloaded, etc - everything seems normal.

But when I am using the plain vzw layout, it seems that my emails to do not show. And further to this, it seems that sometimes my emails are not even automatically downloaded.

Could this layout really be glitchy and cause the phone to behave differently? Anyone familiar with this?

Thanks. E.

I don't understand. Still learning alot of this. Could you tell me what is the difference in "active sync" email and "just new messages coming in"?

My current emails automatically coming in are just from yahoo and gmail, set up through the "add new email..." in the Q. What kind of email is this?

Active Sync mail would be e-mail that you sync from your pc to the Q...

there are a few methods.. i myself prefer and use the Notepad plain jane txt file editor but you need to kinda know what you are doing. method #2 is using a WYSIWYG editor, which imo overall suck because the screens often come out differently then intended :]

check out this post.
