GMAIL problem

Occasionally when I reply to an email using my gmail account it will not go through and I get an error message saying there is something wrong with either my connection or my log in password. And as long as that reply is stuck in the outbox folder no other emails can be sent. Once I delete that email from the outbox folder it works fine. I can assume that the problem may lie somewhere within the email that I am replying to.

Does ayone have this same problem or can anyone offer a suggestion?

Is there a way not to include the senders message in my reply? Maybe that would help. Thanks.
