Probably some other app causing the problem. Do you use Windows Live Search or Yahoo Go! These apps caused my phone to behave the same way that it had with predictive text enabled. Hmmm. It's hard to say. Install SKTools and run Autoclean for one thing. YOu should do that a couple times a week if you do a lot of webbrowsing.
