Hello sir. Can you please explain in detail how you removed the front face that covers the screen so it could be cleaned? Much appreciated if you do. I tried lifting it off but I just ended up cracking the plastic.

HELLO! How are you? Well, to tell you the truth, i tried doing this myself as well but i got scared so left it the way it is. I was trying to contact the person above me through this site but he hasn't responded in "detail" on how to do it correctly. So as soon as he shows me how i will let you know. For now sorry! Have a good one bro. bye

Default Motorola e-mail support response

I contacted Motorola about this dust issue, and this is their response:
- Send the phone to your service provider, if you have purchase the phone no more than 30 days ago.
- Go to www.hellomoto.com/support, select Service My Product, you will see the different options.
- You can contact our Customer Care Center at the number listed below, and the agent will provide you with the available options.

If you send the phone for repair and it has liquid or physical damage you will receive a fee for $75 + taxes. The National Service Center turn around time is within 8 to 10 business days.
I will NOT send my phone out for 10 days. They need to mail me a replacement phone instead. Very upset.

Informative Great suggestion for dust in screen issue!

I tried this out just now and it worked GREAT. I used a NEW can of compressed air for more "pressure" and it disbursed 98% of the dust off of the screen inside! Be careful not to blow air in there too long as it will condensate are create moisture which could wreck your screen inside. Be care with this and you should have good results like I just did! Good luck!

dont even use compressed air... if you havent figured out yet you take a razor blade and at the top corner of the screen you get under the screen and take the first screen off. then you take scotch tape and you stick it to the lcd screen and pull it off and do it on the entire screen
