You can alway buy a new glass screen.
http://http://cnn.cn/shop/motorola-q9m-c-22_436.html

I've purchased these before for the original Q (to replace broken glass covers), and they have worked great.

I have a Q9m and have 2 small scratches, so the last time I was at the mall, I bought a screen cover from a kiosk and haven't had any more scratches. If I could have bought a new glass cover (they weren't out when I bought the screen cover) I would have, and then installed the screen cover.

I got several scratches on my samsung i730, and started using screen protectors, but I too thought that the Q9 might not need one, guess I was wrong.

This is also a great way to get rid of the dust - buy a replacement glass, and then use compressed air and a lint free cloth to clean when replacing the galss.

This used to drive me absolutely crazy on my original Q. Had about 4 of them and they all exibited this defect. I am so glad to report my Q9h Global does not suffer the same fate.

I tried using one of those air duster can and no go...oh well what can I do. I don't really notice it until I shine a light on the screen when it is on standby other than that I don't really notice it during normal operation and use.
My dust is on the lower right corner of the screen. I'll probably try the can again.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah i know i was going to try one of those dust can as well. My dust is on the upper right and making it's way towards the bottom right. I'm afraid later on after having it for a year it would just be FILLED with dust I use to have a razor and it took 2-3 years to get all clogged up. Oh well we'll see how it goes. Hopefully someone will figure it out alright thanks!
peace!

Default If you had the first Q...

...does the screen cover seem more easily scratched on the Q9m? My old Q rode in my pocket for a year and isn't nearly as scratched as my Q9m after just a couple of months.

Default Screen cover

I just purchased Invisibleshield from Sheildzone.com and I love it. Give it a try.
