Desktop software DUN and the Q 9M is it possible

After "hacking" the registry, I cannot get the secret code (##342587 then send) to work. Is the code different or nonexistant for the 9M?

Anyone get DUN to work with their 9M?

I thought Microsoft replaced DUN with Internet Sharing in Windows Mobile 6. I don't know if that affects the Q 9m, though, which may still use the Broadcom/Widcomm Bluetooth stack for Bluetooth DUN.

Also, on some carriers (like Verizon), you'll need to use PDANet or pay extra for tethering support.

I've never used PDANet, but that error usually means that you need to put the EXE on the Q, not your PC.

Default

The nice thick book that came with my Q9m from Verizon on Wednesday has the instructions for tethering and DUN using Bluetooth or USB.

Not sure if Vz charges more if you use this, but all of the settings and details are there.

So, check the manual....page +/-85
