Default Different SDW-822 cards?

Hi all..I have been looking through this forum for a while now, especially since I just got my Q9M...I was looking to buy the wireless card for it, the Spectec SDW-822, so I looked around on eBay...first I searched for "Spectec wifi q9m" and got one version that cost about 50 shipped...then I searched "Spectec SDW822" and got the card with the same specs for 13 dollars cheaper...the one says compatible with Windows 5.0 and above, the other specifically says compatible with the Q9M...I also looked on Spectec's website and there are two different cards...am I safe to assume that the one I purchased will not work because it is not the Q9M specific version?

The difference appears to be that the MOTO one supports bluetooth cooexistence. If you don't use Bluetooth for anything, I would suspect that either version will work for you. I'm pretty sure the one I have is NOT the special one for the MOTO and it works wonderfully...

I've been wondering about this same question. I just bought the regular non-specific SDW822 card and then found out about the Moto Q specific one. I've been searching around the forum but haven't really found a definitive answer. Can anyone expand?

Thanks!

the sdw822 is the card that works with the Q9m. so either way, if you get a sdw822, it will work, regardless of the title. i dont like conspiracy theories, but i think the the "q9m specific" card was released to try and trick people into buying a more expensive card simply because it has their device in the title. You will not have a problem if you dont get a Q9m specific card
