Default Changing Ringtone/Vibration Duration

All Right -

I've done some searching - but can't find this anywhere on the forums. I've edited the following to change the vibration/volume/duration of my ringtone:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0\Script (v3w3apw3r).

I can't stand a single vibrate for 3 seconds. I've changed it to vibrate - pause- vibrate - pause - vibrate and then ring. It works for a while - but as soon as I change the profile - say to silent and then back to normal - the hack get's reset. Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone know how to make this hack stick?

a = activate device
cN = set volume to N in percentage max volume
fN = flash notification LED for N seconds
p = play ringtone. Note that this will play the ringtone all the way through before continuing with the next code.
r = repeat. Note that this should be the last code in your Script string, if used at all.
vN = vibrate for N seconds
wN = wait for N seconds. Note that the device will wait this long before continuing with the next code.

welcome aboard... not 100% sure but those specific settings likely revert when another profile is "read" as you say. it's the same as with a certain DNS hack that is being talked about a lot, it keep reverting back also.

Default An Easier Way?

I was poking around in my settings and found a way to change my ringing and vibrations without making any changes to the registry. Of course this doesn't give you the level of control of the hack you list, but I want to put it out there, as I know others are looking for an easy way to adjust the default profiles.

You can go to profiles - chose the profile - and then use the menu key to choose edit different facets of the profile, ie, Ring type (normal, once, increasing volume, vibrate, pulsing vibrate, multiple vibrate, vibrate and/then ring or done) Alarm type, Reminder, notification, and system sound volume.

Hope that helps somebody!
