Default Can't open jpg in email

I sent an email to my phone with a picture (jpg) but cannot open it. It gives me the following message..."message and all attachments will be downloaded next time you connect and receive email". If I click on this message, it then reads "Get entire message and any attachments (2 MB)." If I click on menu, then Download, it will read "Receiving 1 of 1" but then stalls out.

I certainly cannot figure this out. Any ideas?

I set email message download limits to "entire message":...I just noticed that the limit is 50 kb....That seems rather small.

You can set that to whatever you want. If you don't have enough space on your device you can do a registry edit to autosave email to the storage card. I have no problems opening emails of any size. Of course the larger ones take a little longer. I have mine set in Active Sync Email Synchronization settings as follows: download size limit All, and the include file attachment box is checked. the only if smaller than box is not checked.

Ah ha! I actually opened a jpg in an email last night, but got a message telling me that my storage space was critically low. The device storage is only 0.65 mb free! Is there a way to free up the device memory and automatically autosave email to my storage card? I read that recommendation in your earlier post, but am not sure how to do it. Thanks

I'll do the search for the email autosave hack, but how do you clear the PIE cache, if you don't mind?
