Default Can't hear audio track when playing audio or video files

Although I'm able to hear phone conversations just fine, I have not been able to hear the audio track of any audio or video files using any of the media players (Windows Mobile, TCPMP, PocketTV). I even tried listening with a wired headset. Any ideas?

Notes:
1) I had previously installed and un-installed ... http://www.pockettv.com/ ... it just kept crashing on me.
2) I currently have installed ... TCPMP + AAC plug-in and Flash Bundle

I know this may seem like a silly question, but what does the volume indicator say in the bottom right corner of WMP? I used the arrow keys on the front of the phone to turn the volume up and down.

Taking it for granted that you have set all the system volumes to desired settings...eg.> system volume, headset volume, speakerphone volume, etc...

TCPMP has a setting under 'audio', called 'preamp'...increase or decrease. That will help boost the audio I'm sure...

It is set to maximum volume on the default verizon screen.

Ok, that did it ... I didn't know about the master volume control located by pressing and holding the thumb scroll wheel for several seconds ... apparently, it overrides all other volume controls and I already had all other volume controls set to maximum volume. Thanks for the tips.

Note: The system volume (pressing and holding the thumb wheel) overrides the media player volume keys.

Thank you! I was going insane! I took the time to trim down an MP3 to be an excellent ringtone and went to play it...nothing. Then tried playing the Fergie video (lame) that came on the SD card and it no longer had audio. Glad it was something simple I overlooked!
