As far as I know, there is no way to do this on the Qs. For smartphones MMS messages are considered data. When I get a picture message on just log in to my account on the Verizon website and check it there.

**edit**
How about this. Don't put a block on your actual account through Verizon. Use the hack to put a password on your phone for accessing data. Then when you get a MMS you could put in that password and use data just for that. Remember though, the MMS is counted towards data, not messages.

Wrong. They only count toward data if you do not have a messaging plan. If you have a messaging plan they are taken from the messaging allowance. I know, I have this on my account. MMS are considered data, but they can be filtered from other data for this situation.

I have no intention to hijack this thread. But I've been researching wifi cards. Which miniSD card did you go with?

Recently I have been charged of using data plan when I turn on data to get MMS. Is there anyway to totally turn off any data and only receive MMS? Like disabling all internet explorer and messaging program by editing the registry?
