Default Adding a hands free device to the Q9M??

I'm not too new to the forum, I had a posting a month ago or so and received great info back. I'm back now needing more help.

I purchased the Moto H700 Bluetooth Headset from the website last week, which by the by got to my house in 3 days( B.A. Service!!! ). Well anyway, I'm trying to hook it up and it's not finding the headset. I set the phone up so the bluetooth is on, but it's still not finding it.

Has anyone had this problem??

I've had good luck pairing my Q with headsets. Can we assume that:

1. The headset is in pairing mode (blue light on and steady)?
2. Q is in search mode, looking for headsets?
3. Q keeps searching and doesn't find anything no matter how long you wait?

If those things are all true, it always helps to make sure the headset is fully charged, and to power your phone off and on and try again.

i don't know about the H700, but to turn my bluetooth set to the correct mode is awfully similar to simply turning it on. It might be worth trying - press the button to turn it on/off and ensure it is off. Then, while off, press it again to turn it on but keep holding. If it's like mine it will issue the standard beep while turning on, but if you keep holding without lifting your finger off the button, it will then beep again or at least flash a light indicating it is now in pairing mode. Then try.

Actually I found out how to get the phone into pairing mode!!!! You need to do is hold down the button until it turns that purpilish color with the mic. closed in. As soon as it turns solid then flip open the mic. then it will stay in pairing mode and you should be able to bond it with your phone.

Hope this helps anyone who is having this problem.
