Exclamation Acura TL Handsfree w/ Q9M

First post, so please be patient.

Is anyone using their VZW Q9M with the Acura Handfree Link Bluetooth kit. I have an 06 TL with built-in Bluetooth and have used it successfully with multiple phones. I have paired the Q9m with the car fine, but when I use the Car to dial the phone, the phone dials fine, but I am not getting audio through the car. The audio is still being directed to the phone speaker.

If I dial directly from the phone and then use the "TRANSFER" function of the car to transfer the call to the Car Kit, the audio is fine.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I also have an 06 TL. That problems has happened a couple of times and the audio seems to be coming out of the car speakers too just VERY LOW. If I crank the volume on the handsfree, I can hear them some. Usually I try to transfer to the phone then transfer back to the handsfree using the steering wheel buttons and it seems to work.
I have had it happen where it will freeze and say "IN USE" and not let me try to TRANSFER...
Hope it helps

It happens on most cars with handsfree link I have a Acura MDX and Lexus RX. If you have Active Sync running you have to change the sync to "Manual". Motorola is aware of the issue but no fix at this tme

I have an '05 TL and have the same issue.

Sadly, this seems to be a fairly common issue with the Q and Acura; there are lots of similar posts on the Acurazine site. I had two earlier Motorola BT phones and a Treo 650 that behaved better with my TL, but I like the Q better than those so I'm willing to put up with the annoyance.
