Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade for Moto Q Global - Motorola Q Forum

I have the Moto Q 9H Global from AT&T and was wondering when or if the Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade is available? I see Sprints version is available, but nothing yet for AT & T....does any one know?

I will give you the summary of many many many many discussions on this subject. The 6.1 has been released by Microsoft to the providers, however, it is up to them when they get it to the customers. AT&T has not set any dates for the release but I have heard some Q9c users (Sprint) have gotten theirs. I have AT&T and nothing has been said yet since they are about to release a new version of the Q and I think they are holding out for that. We'll see. Also, no open market 6.1 roms have been found for the Q9h other than the Euro roms which have been said to have some incompatibilities with US Q9h models, confirmed or not I can't say. That's the gist.

I did get a text message awhile ago saying they were introducing new text and picture stuff on June 3rd. It said a new URL for new services and apps would be sent June 3rd. So far, nothing. So I wonder if it was supposed to be the update, or if they were just wishfully thinking???? Did anyone else get the text I did?
