why? why have a mini USB on one and a micro usb on the other? why have mini sd on one and micro sd on the other?...why a 1.3MP cam on one and a 2.0MP cam on the other? why a jog wheel on one and not the other? lol sorry i was just curious? was the q9h and upgrade or something? they could have kept the mini USB i have no clue why they would switch to a micro USB when all their other phones are mini USB

I think AT&T may have had something to do with the micro USB, not sure about the camera or the thumb wheel though.

All phones will have to be micro usb by 2009 from what I hear/ read. Apparently some group was pushing for standards so you weren't always buying chargers etc for every device. So micro USB is the future....But I could be wrong.

Sprint used to require that all of their phones had to use the same charger. So most of them had the capability of using two different types. It definately was nice to be able to use the same charger over the course of 4 phones. But the USB type chargers are much more durable than what sprint chose back in the day.

Yep, all the major cell phone manufactures agreed to use micro usb by 2009.
