Question voice dial, voicedial postpaid

Is voice dial the same as the voicedial postpaid feature offered by ATT?

I stumbled upon it when the speakerphone key was held by accident. I believe the voicedial feature is activated with the *8 key, is free for 30 days but then costs 4.99/month. It stores contacts on the ATT server or someplace, not on the phone.

Also I cant find voice recognition through the start menu. It should be somewhere or only on the Q 9M.

Thanks in advance

Its at the bottom right on keyboard. Just hold it down. Im assuming they didn't add it to the start menu as a safety feature. People will usually use vice rec while driving, so going through the start menu is unsafe and unnecessary.

Thanks,

I called 611. and found that the voice dial for 4.99 feature is for customers who don't have that feature included already on their phone which Q9 does.

I see your point on the voice rec. not being in the start menu.

is there a way you know of to disable/remove this? I find this to be an unnecessary feature, and more of a hassle than anything. Either that or make it so that when I press my headset key it doesn't automatically bring it up. Getting rid of this voice signal would be great.
