are you running any 3rd party apps? I remember an older version of DontForget would sometimes cause my phone to do that

I'd have to agree, that seems like a software glitch because I have NEVER had this problem and I know alot of people who use this phone too and never heard of it. Look into what is running on your device and what it is set to do and how often. Tough break though, it must be annoying as hell.

could you have the reminder set to keep vibrating until the message is read?
at times even though I read the message it still doesn't clear the message....

Default Are you using PhoneAlarm?

I had this problem before too, turned out to be PhoneAlarm causing it. I had been playing with settings in there on text messages, like: vibrate, flash led's, etc.

After that everytime I got text message it wouldn't stop vibrating, had to pull battery to get it to stop. I reset phoneAlarm back to defaults and never had problem since.

Hope this helps.

Arrow Resetting Alarm

To set/reset the alarm, go to Start -> System Tools -> Settings -> Clock & Alarm, have fun and good luck.

Been a while, but I think I removed it then reinstalled. Not sure if there is an entry to reset to defaults within the application. I had other issues with the program too, so I removed it completely couple months back so I can't look.

Good luck.

Default non-stop vibration

For the record, I've been experiencing this same bug -- two or three times a week lately. I haven't loaded any extra applications on my Q9h. There's no apparent rhyme or reason when it suddenly starts vibrating non-stop. While I'm sure that removing the battery would do the trick, my device is otherwise still fully functional, so simply power-cycling it works to stop the vibrating. I very rarely use texting.
