Using Outlook

I am trying to use Outlook to access my work e-mail account. I have all the information I need and it is all entered correctly. Now it says connecting in the top left corner, but then it says error sync. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? The mail account is an exchange type don't know if that matters.

check your connection type in the settings for outlook, it might be set to go through the PC for send/receive operations and that's why. If you want it to do it directly, then you need to change that to internet or whatever accordingly. good luck.
