unread text alerts - Motorola Q Forum

Is there a way to set a reminder alert that I have an unread text message? The way I see it the phone aonly gives you the one alert when you receive the text and sometimes i'm away from my phone.thanks.

Try searching instead of starting a thread about something that has been answered NUMEROUS times....

Excuse me buddy, but I did do several searches and didnt find the answer I was looking for.Seems to me if you dont have or dont want to give me the answer why respond like a jerk? Thanks anyways I'm sure a human will help me find this answer.

Try, start > settings > unread message alert (should be on the third page)

because we see this same question too often from people who seem to think the search function is there for show or something..... he is merely advising you to search, or should i say search better/harder.

there is NO reason to start name calling.

Agree on the name calling issue,but a simply answer would have been enough.anyways i'm over it and really just am looking for help at this point. Maybe I forgot to mention that I have the Q9h. I dont see anyplace under settings to set up a notification of text alert reminder(like every 2 minutes etc). Maybe if you could give me the link to where this has been answered before I could look there instead of buggin you guys anymore.Thanks aolt for all your help.

there may be other ways but i use an application called 'dontforget' that can set up persistent reminders for unread text messages and other things as well.

fwiw, i agree that it would be easier, more polite, and take less energy to simply answer queries than to not answer and direct someone to search ... but that's life on the forums these days.
