I don't make any attempts to understand why moto may have disaled or changed a setting (I really don't know, not that much of an insider) it may have been at Sprint's behest, they seem to make a lot of decisions that don't make sense.

Yes, thats exactly what it is, sadly. Its just not there. Its something Moto had in its V3, V9, the V3xx, everything. But for some reason, its not on the PDA. Bums me out to be honest. But what are you going to do ????

I just make sure the ringers up real loud so even if I'm downstairs or something, I'll hear it. But obviously that doesn't work for everyone.

the question was of the rhetorical kind :} i say get something like DontForget to compensate.. that is often in my opinion the good thing, often small quirks can be solved by 3rd party software.
