Default Txt Messages

I know this seems like it should be obvious, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to delete an entire group of txt msgs. I can, of course, delete them one at a time, but that is ridiculously cumbersome. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Text Messages - delete multiple messages

Is there any hack/tweak/program to delete multiple text messages at once by having some kind of little check box appear on a menu command to delete multiple message, kinda like this:

· Jerry
Hey, be there at 12pm
· David
See you later tonight
· Mom
Dinner at 5pm

(The bullet points would appear as little boxes we can check off)

This way the check boxes would only appear once you select the menu command to delete multiple messages and it would allow you to put a check mark in each message you want deleted.

Anybody have something like this??

Thanks!
MaRiA

thanks, rudeboy................. it's quite logical. different from the Samsung phones I have been using for a long time. but, perfectly reasonable and logical.

now, all I have to do is figure out how to install the google maps thing, having downloaded it and "theoretically" installed it, but no "compass icon" showing up.

fun stuff......... like the old computer days. thanks again for the help.

@ oldfart: the "compass" should be located in the Start Menu, that is if you installed Google Maps.
