Trouble syncing with Outlook

Hey guys, I just purchased a Motorola Q yesterday night, and I'm having trouble with the Active sync. heres the problem:

I had a moto RAZR V3 and I had all my contacts stored to the phone, because if i stored them to the sim card, I could only have one number per entry. Last night, when the guy at the store transferred the information to my new sim card, i only got some of the numbers from my old phone. So I synced my old Razer using Moto Phone Tools and sent all my contacts to Outlook 2003. Now I am having trouble putting those contacts onto my new Moto Q9h Global. What do I have to do? I got the music to transfer correctly, but the contacts wont seem to sync. When i run activesyn it just stays "synchronizing" and nothing new ever happens with my contacts. Whats the problem? Can you guys help?

As I understand it, some firewalls may prevent synchronization. I experienced what you described with Zone Alarm. With Zone Alarm "Off" it syncs fine - although initial "connection" seems to take longer than with MPT and RAZRs.

Thanks a lot. I figured it out. You were right; it was something with my firewall settings that was blocking the sync with outlook.
