Default Transfer Contacts from device to SIM?

When i got my phone I just punched in the phone numbers THEN hit save and put in the info for each number. Everytime I added a new number I just went under recent calls or dialed the number and hit save. When you do this on the motoQ9h it doesnt give you the option to goto DEVICE or SIM.
Now that I look back on it I should have went under CONTACTS>NEW then it would give me the option to select SIM or OUTLOOK and I could have selected there. (I currently am not using outlook because my pC is a piece of crap with win98).
Also on this phone you have to save to the device if you want personalized tones and pic for a contact. IM guessing the way I saved was meant for this...
SO now I have ALL my contacts under device and I want MOST of them under SIM. I actually want them ALL in SIM today because I want to do a master reset on the phone.
Transfer Contacts from device to SIM?

I went to this link and they require active sync.: http://www.jeyo.com/downloads.asp
I tried 2.1 and it wont install, said its not a windows CE application?
I do not have active sync working because my PC is like 10 years old with win98se on it lol.
I am just looking for any app that will transfer all my contacts to sim or card it dont matter as long as theres a way to put them back. because I am about to do a master reset and unlock my phone again so that I will be able to get the apps working that I have been having all these problems with..
thanks.

in a pinch you can do this...

launch the file manager
copy the pim.vol file from your Q. It is not in a folder..just scroll down and you shold see it.

copy this file to either the storage card or to a pc.
after nuking the Q use total commander or resco explorer to copy the pim.vol file from storage card or pc back to the Q.

both programs can be found here

You can install sim manager if you want...easier and faster, however, you can do without. If you have time...Contacts > Select Name (center navigation button) > Menu> Scroll Down and choose "Save to SIM"....and its the same when saving to phone contacts
