Texting to multiple contacts

Unfortunately...i'm really slow at this kind of stuff. Can you tell me how to sync my contacts to Outlook, and then from there, to do all that grouping stuff? Thank you

If you don't have any "groups" then it won't show anything. What I did is I have all my contacts synced with Outlook, in Outlook I edited each contact and placed them into a category (which is like a group).

So I have like all my family members in a category "Family". I then synced my contacts with my Q, then when you run GroupSMS and show groups, it would show all your groups (categories).

Ok, first of all... where do you have all your contacts... are they only on your Q? Do you use Outlook at all to manage your contacts?

Have you installed ActiveSync on your computer? And do you know how to use ActiveSync? Will you be using ActiveSync at all?

Sorry to get back at you so late... have you figured it out yet? If not, basically if your contacts are in Outlook, go into your Outlook and edit each Contact's category. I first decided how many "groups/categories" I wanted (Friends, Family, Cousins). So open each contact up and edit their category field. Once you're done with that, connect your Q via USB cable to your computer and ActiveSync should automatically start up. I don't know if you've set it all up, but either way you need to go into Tools>Options> and make sure your Contacts has a little check mark by it to indicate you will sync with your Outlook contacts. (Don't do the one that says Contacts with a little open book picture, do the one that looks like an ID picture). Hit ok to save your setting. Let ActiveSync sync and all your changes made in Outlook contacts should update to your Q contacts.

Now, verify your changes were made by looking at your contacts on your Q. Once in Contacts list on your Q you can hit Menu>Filter> and it should show your different groups/categories.
