Default Tethering w/ ATT comm manager

Hello,

I just purchased a Q9h and moved from VZW to ATT. I was happy with the VZW service, but was fed up with customer support on issues with my contract. So far ATT is equally great.

I have a unlimited data and tethering plan and had a question on the best way to tether. I am actually tethered right now while someone else is driving... so moving in a car. I am on edge through some cornfields of illinois, so don't expect great speed. The default with connection manager was to use att accellerated, which did not allow me to browse the internet at all. It took about an hour of fiddeling, but I tried non-accellerated and everything is great. I am getting about 120x56k, which is fine. Why was accellerated causing such problems? Does everyone use ATT connection manager to tether or is there a better way?

Thanks.
Jeff

I like my way much better, File Manager,Show all Hidden Files, Windows, find IntShrUI.exe make shortcut and put it in start menu. Start IntShrUI, hit left soft key "connect"

plug in usb cable and go.
