Thanks I'll have to research that further. The difference might be an exchange server vs a POP3. So far the only option would be the Blackberry bolt on which would add another $15 to my bill each month.

do you have a blackberry email server at work?
i dont recall you mentioning that?

I don't have a blackerry e-mail server at work. The bolt-on was what ATT mentioned that they can provide me. I am using only POP3 and nothing from work.

so i dont understand why they would tell you to use a blackberry product

I was confused about that also, but apparently it is an application that was developed to facilitate two way communication with blackberry's but can also be used on other devices.

That is the same as what I do. Did you have to subscribe to a business data plan for Microsoft Direct push? I didn't, but according to AT&T business website, we're supposed to if we're using Exchange Active Sync with direct push. I actually tried to get that added once, but even the AT&T customer service reps are confused as to what it is.
