I'm just curious... but why would you want such a large storage card? I have a 2GB and I'm not even close to using up half of it. What are you guys loading up on the storage card, music & videos, games, etc.?

music and movies for me. right now i have about 100mb free on the (4gb)card left, reserved for taking photos and video clips.

believe me, you can never have enough memory. the more memory you have in your device, the less devices you need to carry. i don't need to carry a mp3 player, portable dvd player, camera, etc.

and like mike250rs said, you can install apps to your memory card as well, that comes in handy if you have to reset your cell too.

I currently have about 7G of mp3 in my network storage which I cannot transfer to my phone, so a 8G storage card will be a nice for me.

I caught a sale at Radio Shack last week and got the 2g sandisk for $24. I mentioned I wouldn't mind having a 6g card and the guy said I couldn't use it in my Q. Was he 'misinformed' ? Is there a limit on addressable storage ?
