Default some software does not work....

I like the new Moto Q Global, however, some of my software does not work on it. I am wondering why...
SlingPlayer only works in full screen.
Atomic Pocket Cannon makes no sound.

what is different about this device. on my BJ II, which runs WM6 also, runs these packages just fine....

Im wondering the very same thing, It was a hard choice between the two, but all the reviews on the q seemed so much better and i hated the BJ1. But it did run every software piece i threw at it. Its what i thought when choicing, if they both have wm6 then both should run the same things. I can get GPS to work on the Q either. I really want to like this thing, but its loosing ground fast.

lol, i also have a Curve 8310 and an 8525.
Because i am a gadget geek. One day, someone will make a device that is perfect. It would have to be the size of the Curve, run WM6 (touchscreen version) have built in GPS and have a battery that lasted 3 days. Also, it would have to have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, recognize an 8GB microSD card and be on the 3G network. and just for kicks, have the ability to run BB connect as well as Exchange push at the same time.

damn, so do you have them all running at the same time? or do you change out the sim depending on what you are doing? i wish i could afford to do all that.

i think what you are looking for in a phone is the nokia e61i but running windows mobile 6 and US 3G. it should do everything else but touchscreen. i could be wrong though. i know it can do exchange and bbconnect. not sure about the 8gb micro and the 3.5mm parts. atleast with the q, you get all but the bbconnect and touchscreen.

wpg - funny enough, i just checked my windows updater and there are no updates available. it is pretty neat that it is built in to the phone with WM6. i don't remember it being like that with WM5.

the Q and the BJ II share a sim that only has data plan on it.
The 8525 has its own sim that only has data on it.
the Curve has a sim with a phone number and BB plan.

I don't ever see being able to carry a single device. I have not tested it yet, but if the BB connect and push can work at the same time on the Moto Q, then i can get rid of at least 1 device.

I must say i am very, very impressed with the battery life on this Q. I am using the slim battery and I am on my second day with Push and pop running.

damn dude, what kind of business are you in? i'm sure you could make your life a lot easier if you were to forward your mail to 1 email address, and then use rules to sort them to individual folders. and at that point, i'd gladly take the 8525 off your hands at no cost. that's right, i'm doing all of this out of the kindness of my heart. ;-)

yeah, that works except for my "reply-to" address. I can't have the president of company A seeing me answer from an address at company B.
