I got this device from my company's Motorola/Goodlink rep and it was working..except I could not disable the mcafee virus scan or uninstall it..so I cleared the entire device and set it up from scratch..
now I cant get the GPS to work in either Google Maps or Live Search.. I dont know if this device had the GPS patch or whatever.. but anyone recommend any solutions?
You said you had performed a "Master Clear".
Maybe you should try a "Master Reset"?
This will re-install all the default software.... It will also erase any data you added to the phone.
On the Q9h the master clear is what the rest of them call master reset.
I don't mean to doubt you but are you sure? I have a Q9h and it has both a "Master Clear" and a "Master Reset" and I can tell you that I have done both and they are different. Just curious.

all I have to go by is what I've heard from others. so If I am wrong By all means, let me know. On my old Q1 and my Q9c the only option is a master reset (which wipes all the information and returns the phone to a "like new" state). What I have heard is that on the Q9h that is what the master clear does. I don't want to be putting incorrect information out there so; as I said, if I am wrong let me know. What do they do for you?
