Default sms time stamp

Is anyone out there having any problems with the time stamp on received text messages? If I turn on that feature, the time it shows me is about 4-6 hours behind the actual time it arrived... I've checked all the settings and there isn't anything I can do to change it.

Anyone know how to fix this or is it just my phone?

Ps. I have an unlocked Q9h which is ATT branded, but I'm using it on Rogers Wireless in Canada.

I'm on an Q Global with AT&T in the LA area, and I've got no problems. Try soft resetting the phone maybe ???? Then hard resetting if it keeps doing it. If not, call Rogers

SMS timestamps are server stamped and there isn't much you can do about that. If their server is not time corrected, then you will get this happening. Here in LA where I have my unlocked Q9h on Cingular (now AT&T), I have no problem and the timestamp is all good.

Contact the provider you are using in Canada and ask them if they have some of DST or Time Offset patch or utility that will correct this for you or if there is anything they set on their server to match a specific time zone for you. Otherwise, SOL my friend, sorry.
