Default Sling Player

A new Version has been released that fixes the screen issue with the Q9H.

Yes sir...it seems to run a bit smoother on my Q1 too. Less buffer..more fulfilling!

I was scared at first. I've been bit before when updating versions on a an app that worked great already. Pleasantly surprised!

Thanks, I just downloaded it. I only used it for a few minutes, but the screen is much better in full screen mode and I'm really, really happy. The images are much clearer. Still not as sharp as my home TV's but, much, much better.

One warning, make sure you know your locator ID and password since 1.6 deletes 1.5 and doesn't carry the password over to 1.6.

If you have Sling Player running in your pc while installing update in your phone through usb, it will automatically enter it for you.

Me too. Especially with my limited Q knowledge.

I do have a question. Can I put the slingplayer on my wifes Q9h too without paying another $30?

Thanks,
dan

Ah, good post. Fortunately I knew the password and the locater ID popped in once I entered the first couple of keystrokes.

If you ever need the password just go to Sling Player (PC) > Slingbox > Slingbox directory > edit > slingbox id (here you find the Alias and Finder ID).

I think you have to pay for each phone. It only installs a trial until you register it.
