Default Setting Storage card as default storage Location?

Hello, does anyone know how to set the micro sd as the defaut storage location for music & pics? Right now everything gets saved to the internal memory even though I have a micro SD card in the Q9H?

Another semi related question. I was under the impression the Q9H accepted 8GB cards? When I go to format a 8GB Micro SDhc card I have it says "Over 4GB" and wont let me format it?

Fire up the Q's camera or video function. Hit Menu>9. Options> highlight the Camera option and select it, and it will give you an option to change where to Save files to: (select your Storage Card) and remember to hit Done and not just exit out.

I remember others posted getting this message: "over 4gb". But they claimed that they were able to go ahead with the format.

Thanks but how about for music? All my music ends up in the internal memory too?

It will not allow me to format it?

Another strange thing is When I go to main menu>system tools>memory manager I can fully view the card, it says storage 7.60GB, free 7.60GB. But when I go to Main Menu>My stuff>Storage card, it says "No storage Card Found". This is also true of the 2GB card. Is my Q defective or something?

Had the same problem when I inserted the card the first time. Reboot helps.

Thanks that fixed that issue.

Still no luck on formatting the 8GB card or setting the storage card as default location for music storage?

Try formatting it on a PC if you can. Also, you need to simply drag the music there instead of on the phone when coming from the PC. From a browser, there should be an option to hit "Save As" or something

I have 8Gb card. I did not have to format it - it is sold already formatted. If you need to format it anyway, put it into the reader and format it as FAT32.
Another question - why do you need to bluetooth the music over? I copied what I wanted on the storage card using SDHC card reader http://www.ledshoppe.com/Product/com/CA2029.htm (4x-8x times faster than via USB cable)
